The designs, hardware, firmware and displayed-backpack systems sold and distributed by Backpack Tech are protected by United States utility patent rights and by copyright. Reproduction, imitation, reverse engineering, or resale of confusingly similar goods is prohibited and will be enforced to the fullest extent of the law.
1. Utility patents
Backpack Tech products — including LED dot-matrix and integrated LCD advertising backpacks, their mounting systems, enclosures, thermal management, and the software that drives them — are covered by one or more issued and pending United States utility patents administered by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
Patent markings are published for constructive notice. Any product that makes, uses, sells, offers for sale, or imports a substantially similar implementation infringes those patent claims, whether or not it was copied deliberately.
Patent numbers and the full patent list are provided on written request and on purchase documentation.
2. Copyright

All original material on this site — product photography, renderings, product descriptions, marketing copy, graphics, logos, brand marks, catalog layouts, videos and site code — is the exclusive property of Backpack Tech and is protected under United States copyright law and international treaty.
No image, page, description or asset may be copied, scraped, mirrored, republished, used in listings or advertisements, or used to train a model without our prior written permission. Permission requests are reviewed in writing only.
3. Trademarks
Backpack Tech, and the product and program names used across this site, are our marks. They may not be used in company names, domain names, usernames, listings, ad keywords, or product packaging.
4. Enforcement
We actively monitor marketplaces, advertising networks, freight and customs filings, and the open web. When infringement is identified we act, and we do not stop at a warning:
- Immediate takedown and delisting notices to the hosting platform or marketplace.
- Cease-and-desist and indemnity demands to the infringing party and its suppliers.
- Civil action for patent, copyright and trademark infringement, seeking injunctive relief, actual damages, lost profits, disgorgement of profits, statutory damages, enhanced damages for willful infringement, and attorneys' fees.
- Referral to customs and border authorities to block importation of infringing goods.
- Criminal referral where counterfeiting or fraud is indicated.
"I didn't know it was protected" is not a defense. Ignorance of our rights does not reduce liability.
5. Authorized use
Resellers, distributors, OEM partners and campaign partners operate under written agreements that grant a limited, revocable license. Being an approved partner does not transfer ownership of any mark, image or patent right, and does not authorize modifications to product artwork.
If you believe you have a right to use our material, get written authorization from us before you publish it. If you believe we have used your material, contact us and we will review it immediately.
6. Contact
Permission requests, licensing enquiries and infringement notices must be sent in writing to sales@backpacktech.com. Include the exact URL, the right you are asserting, and your contact details.
